Digital Price Tag for Mercedes-Benz dealerships worldwide

Mercedes-Benz is replacing the printed price label in the showroom with a touch-enabled tablet at the vehicle that pulls prices, equipment and media from the Mercedes systems, the content management system and the dealer management systems. We built the app for iPad and Android and support the rollout across more than 900 dealerships in 32 countries.

When is custom software worth it compared to a standard product?

As soon as a process touches your core business and no standard product covers it precisely, building your own is the more economical route. As long as standard solutions with small adjustments are enough, we actively advise against custom code. We give you both options, honestly assessed.

What happens to our existing systems?

We integrate rather than replace. ERP, CRM and industry applications stay what they are. Our platforms connect to them, read, write and enrich, without pushing out what is already there. Where a migration makes sense, we plan it in steps you can follow.

Can we develop the software further ourselves later?

Yes. We deliver readable code, complete documentation and handover workshops. You can bring in your own developers at any time or change supplier.

How quickly is the first usable version ready?

Six to ten weeks to the first version you can use in production is a realistic frame. We deliver in increments of two to three weeks, so you see early what is taking shape and can steer along the way.

How do you protect the platform against attacks?

Permissions, encryption, audit trails and automated security scans belong on the drawing board with us. We are TISAX certified and follow the established standards for web application security. Penetration tests we run together with the people you appoint.

Who runs the platform after go-live?

Either we do, or your IT, or a third party. We build so that each of those options works, and hand over cleanly. Application management and operations under a service agreement are part of our portfolio, but not an obligation.
