savvytec

Data you can trust.

We bring your scattered data sources together, secure quality and availability, and build the foundation that makes reporting, analytics and AI hold up in your company.

From scattered data to a basis for decisions.

Working with data does not start with a tool. It starts with the question of where things get stuck today. We address these four building blocks, on their own or together.

Data strategy & architecture

A clear view of what you have today and what you will need tomorrow.

We map your source systems, document how data flows and design the target architecture. Including a roadmap with effort, impact and eligibility for public funding, so the investment is planned rather than hoped for.

  • A documented picture of the current state, shared with everyone involved
  • A target architecture for your data that anyone can follow
  • Roadmap with milestones, effort and budget
  • Business case including eligibility for the German research allowance

Data services

Data arrives reliably where it is needed.

We connect source systems, build automated data pipelines and develop interfaces that hold up under load. An end to overnight spreadsheet marathons and manual handovers.

  • Automated connection of your core and third-party systems
  • Reliable data transfer routes with monitoring
  • Interfaces for business applications and partners
  • A complete audit trail for every data flow

Data quality & governance

Numbers the board, the business and the auditor can all rely on.

We define quality rules, make breaches visible and establish clear responsibilities. Compliant with data protection law, ready for audit, documented.

  • Defined quality rules for every core data set
  • Early warning for data errors and gaps
  • Permissions model down to individual columns and rows
  • Documentation and deletion concepts that meet data protection law

Reporting & self-service analytics

Instead of competing spreadsheet versions, answers circulate in the organisation.

We build the layer that turns data into business metrics and enable your teams to create their own analyses, without a second spreadsheet reality emerging.

  • Dashboards for management, business units and day-to-day operations
  • A shared layer with one definition per metric
  • Tool selection: Power BI, Tableau or open source
  • Enabling the people who will use it

Working with data is a matter of trust. With us, the same people look after your platform from the first architecture sketch until long after go-live. Permanently employed in Paderborn, with names and direct lines instead of ticket numbers.

Common questions.

What decision makers want to know before the first conversation. What we get asked again and again.

When is a data platform of your own worth it?

As soon as your numbers have to be collected from more than two systems, the effort starts to grow. At the latest when the people responsible for reporting regularly reconcile spreadsheets, or when different departments present different truths, a platform saves more than it costs.

Cloud, on-premise or hybrid?

We decide pragmatically, based on your compliance requirements, how your IT team is set up and your budget. Sensitive data we run entirely on your own infrastructure; for workloads that need to scale we talk to the large cloud providers. One does not rule out the other.

Does all our data have to be centralised?

No. We build as much central structure as the questions require, and no more. Some data belongs in a central platform, other data is better left in its source system and queried when needed.

How long until we see a benefit?

Six to eight weeks to the first use case in production is a realistic frame. We deliberately deliver small, measurable results early instead of spending months on concepts.

What about data protection and compliance?

Data protection and auditability belong on the drawing board with us, not at the end. We are TISAX certified and design platforms so that permissions, logging and deletion concepts are thought through from the start.

What happens to our existing tools?

We do not replace things on principle. In the vast majority of cases we integrate what exists and add where there are obvious gaps. You keep the choice, we provide the options.

Let us lay the foundation for your data.

One conversation is enough to see whether we are the right partner. Honest, without a sales performance, with a concrete assessment of your next sensible step.
